His stock ball drift into the batsman. Kaneria is a regular member of Pakistan team in the longer version of the game. So far he have to prove his worth in the ODI team, The leg-spinner is a difficult bowler to play on dusty subcontinent tracks, but Kaneria is yet to make an impact on tours out of the country.
His spinning approach is reminiscent of Abdul Qadir, and he has now picked up the baton from Mushtaq Ahmed as Pakistan's premier legspinner. He struggled from first to last in 2006, not to take wickets, but to take them quickly enough. It didn't help that he had no constant support from the other end, as Pakistan suffered heavily from injuries to fast bowlers. But he ended the year upbeat with an better performance in South Africa

Imran Khan Biography
Few would dispute that Imran was the finest cricketer Pakistan has produced, or the biggest heart-throb. Suave, erudite and monstrously talented, he gave cricket in the subcontinent real sex appeal in the 1970s and 1980s. As such he and TV completed the popularisation of the game in his country which Hanif Mohammad and the radio had begun. Thousands, if not millions, who had never dreamt of bowling fast on heartless baked mud suddenly wanted to emulate Imran and his lithe bounding run, his leap and his reverse-swinging yorker. He also made himself into an allrounder worth a place for his batting alone, and captained Pakistan as well as anyone, rounding off his career with the 1992 World Cup.

Wasim Akram Biography

Wasim Akram born in Lahore, Punjab is a former Pakistani cricketer. He was a left-arm fast bowler and left-handed batsman, who represented the Pakistani cricket team in Tests and One Day Internationals. Widely regarded as one of the finest fast bowlers ever, Akram holds world records for the most wickets taken in both ODIs (502) and List A cricket (881), and was one of the pioneers of reverse swing bowling. The revolutionary nature of reverse swing initially resulted in accusations of ball tampering, although reverse swing has now been accepted as a legitimate feature of the game. Akram's later career was also tarnished with accusations of match fixing, although these remain unproven.
Wasim retired in 2003, after a brief spell with Hampshire in England. Since then, Wasim has taken up commentary and can currently be seen as a sportscaster for the ESPN Star network, and is also running shows on ARY Digital. He is married to Huma Mufti, daughter of Mr. Humayaun Mufti. Wasim and Huma have two sons from their marriage of fourteen years. Wasim has also appeared in Fuzon video as a model.

Sohail Tanvir Biography

The Rawalpindi born allrounder made his first-class debut against Peshawar in October 2004 but failed to amaze with bat or ball. However, in his second match, against Multan, Sohail Tanvir scored an unbeaten 97 while taking three wickets but has played only 17 first-class matches since (a total of 19 in three seasons). An thrilling young fast bowling prospect, Sohail Tanvir has already hogged the attention with an unorthodox action. His entry into the Pakistan team came unexpectedly, when Shoaib Akhtar was sent back home from the inaugural World Twenty20. His wrong-footed action often causes a lot of problems for batsmen as it becomes tricky to pick deliveries easily. He also bowls occasional left arm orthodox spin.Tanvir has established himself as a batting allrounder and his unbeaten 124 (his second first-class century) in the Pentangular Cup 2007 match against Sind further recognized that point.
He also represented Pakistan Academy on their tour of Bangladesh and his fine all-round performance on that tour and against Australia A in the ODI series at home. His wrong-footed action, however, caused batsmen a lot of problems and emerged as the surprise package in the ICC World Twenty20. Although not picked for the Test team, Tanvir was back in Pakistan colours in the ODI series against South Africa. He went on to record a stunning 6 for 14 for Rajasthan in the IPL - the best figures in a Twenty20.

With Pakistan winning the World Cup, Sarfraz was duly drafted into domestic cricket. Safraz has had a wonderful start to the 2007-08 season where he has racked up three fifties in the first five matches with 21 dismissals behind the stumps and is now looking a serious threat to Kamran Akmal's position as Pakistan's first-choice wicketkeeper.
Although he only managed ten first-class matches in his first full season playing for Karachi and Sind - as well as nine 'A' matches and five Twenty20 games - an aggregate of 523 with the help of five half-centuries, with 28 dismissals behind the stumps to go with, did not go unnoticed as Sarfraz was named to face the touring Australia 'A' during the second half of 2007 as well as facing the South Africans in a tour match.
